JoeOur Approach : A Personal Business Philosophy

At Nan’s Carpet and upholstery cleaning, I do not rely on heavy marketing strategies to expand our customer base. Most of our clients either are timely repeats or referrals from existing customers. I have limited the commercial client base to concentrate on servicing individual homeowners. I maintain an historical database on all work performed, enabling me to tailor my services to the exact needs of the customer.

I have elected to keep my business at a manageable size for several reasons:

  • This allows me to keep a personal relationship with clients that otherwise would be difficult to maintain.
  • I can provide a consistent level of service utilizing techniques that have been refined and perfected over a long period of time.
  • I have found that customers are more comfortable seeing the same person every time to clean their carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • By having no employees, I am able to keep costs under control and to provide excellent service at reasonable prices.
